Within Our Care Home
As reported by the Clacton Gazette and following the announcement to close the Durban Rehabilitation Centre at Clacton Hospital, Corner House Care Home are excited to announce, in conjunction with Anglian Community Enterprise (ACE) an alternative Re-ablement facility for all residents of Clacton and the surrounding areas.
The Corner House team have undergone detailed training by ACE and supported by their staff will be providing the re-ablement services in the futures
In Our Clients Homes
Our Home Care Reablement service is designed to encourage our clients to regain confidence and the skills required to live as independently as possible in their own home.
Users are referred to Reablement upon discharge from hospital by Social Work Services, or by family members or from our Care Home.We can set agreed goals which can range from meal preparation to personal care to helping with movement or ensuring medication is taken
This can include those who currently receive care services from Essex County Council but may wish to purchase additional support, or those who have completed a Reablement programme but feel they need continuing support.
